About

“Real Men, Giving Real Time”

Our organization is committed to the growth and development of our area youth. In addition to engaging in mentoring, education, health & wellness, and economic empowerment programs, it is important to aid in developing the talented youth in our area in pursuing higher education.

Chartered by the 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont in the Summer of 2004, our local chapter in Beaumont began as a coalition of men who wanted to positively impact our community. After several months of recruiting and volunteering, we decided to join with the National Organization of the 100 Black Men of America to leverage our support. The National office of the “100” as they are commonly called is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia is comprised of chapters throughout the nation and internationally serving thousands of youths annually.

The footprint of the voluntary efforts of the 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont extends to the boundaries of the Golden Triangle area. We estimate since our beginnings that the chapter has logged over 25,000 mentoring volunteer hours. Each year the 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont awards scholarships to area students to attend institutions of higher learning.
