The Collegiate 100 is a campus-based student organization which strives to inspire the next generation through mentoring, education, economic development, and wellness. The group is currently comprised of 48 members – a growth Washington is proud to see since her original “Magnificent 7” established the chapter in 2021. 

Dr. Washington recognized as Advisor of the Year

Dr. Kathryn Washington, advisor of the Collegiate 100 (C100) and educational leadership professor, received the Dr. Melvin Brust Advisor of the Year award during this year’s Toast to Leadership award ceremony.

Collegiate 100 of Lamar University win big at C100 Leadership and Career Institute Conference

Lamar University’s Collegiate 100 Chapter was named the National Winners of the 2023 C100 Leadership and Career Institute Conference at the 100 Black Men of America’s 37th Annual Conference in Las Vegas on June 19th.

LU Collegiate 100 inducts Esteemed 19 to chapter

Advised by educational leadership professor, Dr. Kathryn Washington, the organization welcomed its newest members at their induction ceremony on February 28.

Lamar University’s Collegiate 100 (C100) group was honored with a prestigious recognition by Beaumont City Council on August 15 for their exceptional contributions to the local community and for their success at the C100 Leadership and Career Institute Conference in Las Vegas on June 19.
